trust needs to be earned.
and trust is very important in any relationship.

hehh! i think this picture is damn cute.
but it says alot (:
indeed in God, have i put my trust.

if you feel insignificant
a whisper in the wind
sometimes you think nobody knows your name
but there's somebody watching over you
and He knows everything you're going through

He sees every single tear
He feels everything you're feeling
He wants to hold you close and dry your eyes
ohh your heart is what He hears
when the world just hears you crying
no matter what the pain He cares
about every single tear.

goodnight.

dissection was just plain gross.

that's just the dog.
there's still the cat.
but okay, i think you've seen enough.
the smell was horrible and quite a few people felt like throwing up. ohyes, that's what we -vet techs, do.
i'm really tryna crack my head on how some people can actually eat a dog or cat or any other domesticated animal. it's just heartless. shows how much compassion they have. ugh.

anyway, it was an emo trip home.
but this song always reminds me of how God has my life in His hands and even tho' i don't know what tomorrow brings, i can trust that God has everything planned out.

i don't know about tomorrow,
i just live from day to day.
i don't borrow from it's sunshine,
for it's skies may turn to grey.
i don't worry o'er the future
for i know what Jesus said
and today i'll walk beside Him
for He knows what is ahead.

many things about tomorrow
i don't seem to understand
but i know who holds tomorrow
and i know who holds my hand.

goodnight.

I'M ON BELAY (:

okay, i know this post is abit late bt yeah.
i still feel like i shld blog about youth camp cuz i learnt alot, especially on the day we went rock climbing, and of course through the games and other activities.

our theme for this year's youth camp was

RELATIONSHIP
the unsinkable.

the main objectives were to inspire our youths to truly encounter God in their faith and build a strong relationship with God, to learn and grow in Christ's body as a fellowship and build relationships with each other (:

i was in the camp committee this year and i planned the games together with joseph, denise, jem and kelvin. it was really a great experience. amos and gabriel helped with the games on the day itself too. thanks guys! the games wouldn't have been successful without you guys. so yes, it wasn't easy planning the games as we had to come up with original and really fun games but it was a great learning experience. we had lots of laughters ( i think we're quite sadistic) and i think we really grew closer (: we met at 5am on the first day of camp to do the final things okay! ENTHU SIAL. hahahahah. but i think everyone enjoyed the games la huh? project successful! (:

i think the camp objectives were met as there were bonds forged, and relationships built. during this camp, i had time to really reflect and spend quiet time with God. i learnt quite a few lessons particularly when we went rock climbing on the second day, it was super fun (: my new-found love. HAHAHAHA.

firstly, i learnt that in whatever i do, my friends and family will always be there to support me and catch me when i fall. they will always help me up and bring me back on track again. just like how the belayer supports and helps the climber.

secondly, i also learnt that even the people who are not in my belay system will be there to cheer me on and guide my steps. they will even walk along side by side with you. when we were climbing, i could see the other team members cheering their friend on, telling him/her which rock to step on and stuff, it was really encouraging (:

lastly, i learnt that trust is very important in any relationship. the climber has to trust the belayer to support him when he loses his grip and not let him fall. and trust me, it's quite scary when you're up there. hahaha.

OHOHOHHH, i didn't just complete the normal wall, i completed the.. uhh, sideways one? AIYAA the hard one la :D hahaha okay fine no biggie to you but it is to me! HUH! (:

heh, we had steamboat & angel and mortal present shopping on the last day, followed by steamboat dinner! (: it was a good time la, going around in our groups to buy food and little presents for your mortal. i think that angel and mortal game is good, cuz it reminds you that someone cares (:

well, that's about it for youth camp. i really enjoyed myself. anna was very sick tho', but she still managed to be with us for most of our programmes (: and of course, i would like to thank the entire crew for making the camp a success! great job everyone! (:

" and we know that in all things, God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to His purpose"
